With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Amie Lee, born on October 3, 1963, in Winchester, Ontario. She was a devoted partner to Robert Beaudry, and a loving mother to Arielle and Isabelle Beaudry. She was also sister to Paul (Diane), Jean (Benson) and Michael (Mai). Amie's warmth, kindness, and love profoundly impacted those who knew her.
Amie's heart found its greatest joy in her gardens, on the golf course, and in the embrace of the great outdoors. Her passion for nature was infectious, and many will remember the various green projects she excitedly undertook.
Amie will be remembered for her exceptional ability to bring people together through her social grace and empathy. She had a knack for creating connections that left a lasting impression.
In honouring Amie's wishes, a funeral service will not be held. Instead, the family would be grateful if friends and family shared their cherished memories on a forever online memorial board. Amie's family will organize a celebration of her life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to support Scleroderma Research at the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. In the “What inspired you to donate” field, type “Please direct my gift to Scleroderma Research” and specify that you are making the gift in memory of Amie Lee on the next screen.
The family extends sincere gratitude and love to all who have offered support during this time. Your kindness has been of great comfort.

Robert, Arielle and Isabelle. We were shocked and heartbroken to hear the news of Amie’s passing. We have known Amie for thirty-five or more years as a colleague, a fellow member of the “soiree sans enfants” dinner group, and primarily as a friend. Amie was always bubbly and full of life. Whenever we saw her, she was always excited to tell us about whatever was happening with Robert and her girls, as well her gardens, pets and other hobbies. She always seemed to have a positive excitement about whatever was her latest endeavour.
She will be missed. Our condolences to you as well as to your extended family.

Mike and I had the distinct pleasure of working with Amie for many years. She was a problem-solver extraordinaire, the driving force behind many challenging and successful projects. The agency was fortunate to have her, and her professional legacy endures.
We were fortunate to know her not only as a colleague but as a friend and it breaks my heart to write about her in the past tense.
Amie was blessed with a curious mind, always exploring and creating. We touched on her wide ranging interests in our frequent lunch-time conversations. Family, friends, pets (including her “ingester” cat and preference for Schapendoes dogs), tole painting, gardening, The Sims, the best high-efficiency furnace, are a random few that spring to mind. She was kind, considerate, and full of life and good humour. Spending time with her always brightened my day.
Our heartfelt condolences to Robert, Arielle, and Isabelle. May her memory be a blessing.

Amie was the captain of the Monday crew at Manderley. It was my good fortune to be on her team. She was always cheerful, helpful and a pleasure to work with. I'm so very sorry for your loss.
