With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Amie Lee, born on October 3, 1963, in Winchester, Ontario. She was a devoted partner to Robert Beaudry, and a loving mother to Arielle and Isabelle Beaudry. She was also sister to Paul (Diane), Jean (Benson) and Michael (Mai). Amie's warmth, kindness, and love profoundly impacted those who knew her.

Amie's heart found its greatest joy in her gardens, on the golf course, and in the embrace of the great outdoors. Her passion for nature was infectious, and many will remember the various green projects she excitedly undertook.

Amie will be remembered for her exceptional ability to bring people together through her social grace and empathy. She had a knack for creating connections that left a lasting impression.

In honouring Amie's wishes, a funeral service will not be held. Instead, the family would be grateful if friends and family shared their cherished memories on a forever online memorial board. Amie's family will organize a celebration of her life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to support Scleroderma Research at the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. In the “What inspired you to donate” field, type “Please direct my gift to Scleroderma Research” and specify that you are making the gift in memory of Amie Lee on the next screen.

The family extends sincere gratitude and love to all who have offered support during this time. Your kindness has been of great comfort.

I played tennis with Amie at Elmdale for years before and after her retirement. I wasn't fortunate enough to be a close friend, but I knew from our conversations that she loved life and was living it to the fullest with family and friends. Amie had so much more of life to live, if only fate had taken me instead of her. I will always treasure the memories of my friend Amie Lee.
