Captain (ret’d) Jacques (Jack) Plamondon, age 88, unexpectedly passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife Marie (nee Grondin) by his side.
Jacques was very proud of his RCAF career, joining as a Weapons Tech Air in 1954 and retiring as an Aerospace Engineer in 1988. Jacques concluded his military service with an additional 4 years as a Class C Reservist.
Survived by his wife, his loving children, Carole Buxcey (Mike), Sylvie Brown (Greg), Yvan (Lori Steeves) and Kathy. Jacques is also survived by a sister and 2 brothers, his 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
As per Jacques wishes, cremation has taken place and private graveside service will take place at a later date.

We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Jacques. Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. My dad (Floran Belanger) always spoke highly of him and valued their friendship greatly. I remember those nights when our parents would get together to play cards, all the laughter and fun they had. Jacques was so kind and generous and always had great stories, he will be deeply missed.
