Roch was born in Ottawa, Ontario on August 6, 1971. He passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the home of his closest friend.
Roch was a caring son and cherished brother. A devoted friend to many, he demonstrated unwavering support and loyalty especially to those who grew up with him in East Ottawa.
Roch was an avid outdoorsman for many years, raising and training labrador retrievers that accompanied him hunting. While trucking was his occupation, bikes and the motorcycle community were his passion. Roch was always happiest out on the road riding on two wheels.
Roch is survived by his dear sister Sylvie Levasseur (Gerry St-Onge). He was predeceased by his brother Alain Piche, his father Gerald Hicks, and mother Blanche Petit-Clerc. Roch will be truly missed by his family as well as many friends, and co-workers.
An informal memorial gathering for family and friends will be held Friday, October 18th at The Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, ON from 2-4 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
