Passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024 at the age of 84. She will be dearly missed by her children; Wayne McKay (Monic Jansen), Shaun Noonan (Ana), Roy Noonan (Crystal) and Christina Mill (Corey LeFort). Her grandchildren Skyler, Patrick, Olivia, David, Dalton, Blake and Hailliegh.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Isabelle Grichen and Otto Griechen and stepfather Bill Thompson. Her sisters, Laura Grichen, Lola Griechen, Eda Herault, Florance LaChapple, Shirley Grichen, Donna Grichen. Brothers, Roy Grichen, Ernie Griechen, John Grichen, Teddy Grichen, Bernie Tompson, Billy Tompson, Bobby Tompson.
The family would like to give special thanks to Joyce’s niece, Janice Gricken and sister-in-law Marion Gricken as well as her close community of neighbors for their love and support throughout the years. Another special thank you to all the medical staff including the in-home nurse and staff at Ottawa General Hospital for their exceptional care.

We are so sorry for your loss. Aunt Joy was a very special person in our lives and I will truly miss our yearly visits and our always humorous conversations. I once asked her to write down her stories as there were so many it’s hard to remember them all. Aunt Joy will always be in our hearts and forever missed.
