It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Shirley Matheson. She passed peacefully on June 12, 2024 with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.
She was predeceased by her partner of 50 years Gertrude (Rhona) Melanson in January of 2023.
She is survived by her daughter Carla, her stepdaughters Sandra and Brenda, her stepson Stephen, as well as four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Shirley was an OTC bus driver for a large portion of her life in Ottawa, driving buses from 1977 to 2004.
