John Charles (Jack) Ferguson

Peacefully in his 93rd year. Jack was born in Montreal to John Charles Ferguson and Betty Olive Brown and grew up in Ottawa.  After graduating from Ryerson in architectural technology, he began his career at John B. Parkin and Associates in Toronto.  He returned to Ottawa in the late 1950’s and worked as a general contractor until his retirement. Jack was predeceased by his sister Ann (Thomas).  He is survived by Sandra, his loving wife and partner of 61 years; his children, Jennifer and Jonathan; and his granddaughters, Serena and Isidora. Jack’s life revolved around his business and his family. He was a good provider, an excellent role model and a cheerleader. Jack had a good sense of humour, and he made us all smile. He will be deeply missed.
