It is with great sadness we announce that Lois passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the age of 95. Lois is survived by Patrick her husband of 56 years who was also her best friend. Lois loved animals, especially her dog Winston.
Lois was predeceased by her parents Ethel and Harry Deslaurier and her brother Weldon Deslaurier. Lois will be especially remembered by many relatives and friends in the Ottawa area, the extended Green family and by her husband’s relatives the Clayton and Lunde extended families in Alberta, her sister-in-law Allison (Leonard) and the Brassard family in British Columbia as well as Barbara Charlton (Jim) in Florida.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Lois’s life will be held at a later date. In remembrance, contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa or the Ottawa Humane Society.
Deepest sympathies on the passing of Lois. I will always remember her smile and sense of fun.
