Peacefully on Saturday, February 3 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Vickie Townson, much-loved father of Catherine Cameron (Douglas), Valerie Albrecht (Dan Hamilton) and Jennifer Hughes-Fennell (William Fennell, deceased). Bill’s grandchildren, Jeremy Kennelly, Sean Kennelly, Michael Kennelly, Zachary Desson, Molly Desson, Isaac Desson, their spouses and partners, and his eleven great-grandchildren will be missing their “Papy”. Bill was predeceased by his son-in-law, Kevin Kennelly.
Bill is remembered for his resilience, strength, kindness, quick wit and ability to make each person he met feel special. He most enjoyed his family, his love of science fiction, and his weekly golf games with his buddies at Hylands.
Many thanks to the staff at Peter D. Clark Long Term Care for their care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Bells Corners, 3861 Old Richmond Road, Nepean, followed by a reception.
