It is with much sorrow that the Family announces the passing of Mrs. Margaret Roy of Ottawa on Friday December 1, 2023 at the age of 93. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Capt. Robert James Roy, CD (RCAF). Loving mother to Robert (Carol) and Stephen (Libi) and cherished grandmother to Daniel.
Friends are invited to pay respects and visit the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, on Thursday December 7th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m., and Friday December 8th after 9 a.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday December 8th in the Sacred Space of the Beechwood National memorial Centre at 9:30a.m. followed by burial at the National Military Cemetery of the Canadian Forces and a Reception in her honour in the Borden & Fleming Suites.
In memoriam donations to The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or the charitable organization of your choice will be appreciated.
