Passed away peacefully at Longfields Manor in Barrhaven after a long illness.
Now happily reunited with her husband Bert, father Paul, mother Cecile, and many beloved pets in Heaven.
Missed immensely by her daughter Christine and son-in-law John MacNaughton.
Remembered fondly by her grandchildren: Ashley (Curtis Foster) and Jarrod (Clare Barnes); her great-grandchildren: Norah, William, and Emma; and her sister Pauline (Robert Tessier).
Arrangements for a private cemetery burial are being made. Per Claire's wishes, a formal service will not be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society.
