I send my sincere condolences in this difficult time. The Bible gives a reliable promise that your loved one will soon live again in a peaceful paradise on the earth at a time when there will be no more death. (John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15; Revelation 21:4)

I knew Fred in the late 60's when I was on Onondaga and Fred was on Okanagan. Years later he tracked me down when I was living in Ottawa and recruited me to join SAOC. I now live in Saskatchewan which is a long way from Ottawa so I am sorry I can't attend but I will be thinking of him. I am so sorry for your loss.

Fred and I spent many years at sea on submarines, he was a great submariner, a great sonarman, with a very keen sense of humour. Fred, my friend, you may rest on your oars, you have reached the shore, we will take over the watch.

May the family of Fred accept my condolences for your loss. I was priviledged to have served on submarines with Fred in the early 70's, then as a fellow member of the SAOC since its inception. Fred will be missed by all. May he Rest in Peace.

Fred was always a bag of fun and laughs I remember we were on a road trip from Halifax to Golden BC and then Fred was going on to Chilliwack his home town. We were in the middle of nowhere Ney York state and I got picked up for speeding $10.00 fine paid on the spot after the cop left us Fred said " well glad I wasn't driving for I had my license suspended a month ago"
Thanks Fred He was always a great shipmate and the editor of the monthly submarine dits was always appreciated. Wherever Fred is now he will be liked
