Bismillah hir rahman nir raheem. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Chowdhry Rafiq Ali Khan. By the grace of God, his life was both a triumph and a blessing.
It is with great pride and gratitude that we celebrate the life that he led. He was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. We are forever grateful to have benefited from his love, his wisdom, and his example.
Since leaving India as a teenager, his life was a series of adventures undertaken with a cast of wonderful people. He lived enough for three lifetimes and collected friends, knowledge, and experiences along the way.
His wisdom and advice, his generosity and compassion, and his quiet support to so many will be dearly missed. We remember his tremendous love and zest for life, for travel, to build, to grow and, most of all, to cherish his time with those he loved.
We will miss him greatly but will treasure his legacy.
