Georgette Saikali

Left this world with her loving family by her bedside in Ottawa on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at the age of 81.
Beloved  wife of the late Norman Saikali .
Loving  mother of Samir, Samira (late Nick Aramouni), Salam Saikali (Larry Kramp), Abby (John Warnaar), Michael (Chantal Huot) Saikali and the late Daniel Saikali.
Devoted grandmother of Antoinette (George Nahal), Danny (Kelly) Aramouni, Jonathan (Carinne) Warnaar, Brittney (Chris) Hladkowicz, Vanessa Saikali, Sebastien Saikali, Alexandre Saikali, Michael Kramp, Christina Saikali, Matthew Kramp  and the late Amira Aramouni.
Cherished  great-grandmother of Chloe Nahal, George Nahal, Jonathan Warnaar, Nate Warnaar and Meadow Hladkowicz.
Dear sister of  John (late Isabelle) Saikaley, Jimmy (Cheryl) Saikaley, Jeanette (Karim) Saikaley, George Saikaley of Lebanon, and the late Toufic (late Violette) Saikaley, Kamal (late Marie) Saikaley, Kamila, and Najah (late Hanna Zahalan) of Lebanon..
Georgette was an aunt of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am followed by funeral service at 11 a.m.
Interment  at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave., Vanier, ON K1L 8A6.
In lieu of flowers, considering a donation in Georgette’s memory to St. Elias Cathedral  or  Saint-Vincent Bruyère Hospital or Diabetes Canada   would be appreciated.
