Dear Alain,

I cannot believe still that you left us. I will always remember the first time we met with Isabelle on a training bike with Suzanne when you moved with Annick and Chantal back around 1995..or earlier.

You and Suzanne were so happy and we spoke and laughed. It was the beginning of a friendship for us and our kids.

You always be missed.

Suzanne, Isabelle,Christian et Marie Eve my condolences to the loss of a husband, father, grandfather and also a friend of mine.

May God and his angels be beside you during this Passage. May Alain memories and love last a life time more in your heart and mind.

My deepest condolences to all of Alain's family. We worked together for over 25 years and spent a lot of time talking about family, travel and technology. I will miss him. RIP Alain.

Fatiha, our two children and I will be missing you. All our thougts and love to Suzanne, your three children, and your own brother and sisters and their families.
We share with them overwhelming sadness no words can express.
From Paris where Alain often travelled, we had the chance to share his kind and loving attentions. We cherish his witty look on life and people, and the way he embraced the world with insatiable curiosity and enthousiasm. Always caring for people, caring for relatives, and caring each second for his loving family.
With just a few words or even just a cheerful gaze, Alain spread sparkles of happiness.
And, with the faithfullness and constancy of Alain, so many sparkles became a long lasting and inspiring source of light.
Alain stood as the unifying bridge between overseas relatives in France and North America. And that, we shall carry on with him.

Sincere condolences to our good friends and neighbours, the Hodak family. We were so fortunate to have met you., Alain was so proud of his beautiful wife, Suzanne, and his ) children, Isabelle, Christian and Marie Eve,. A generous and fun loving man, he had a zest for life and adventure and he enjoyed many beautiful adventures in different parts of the world. A social man, he had a variety of interests. He was an amateur of good food and drink. He was often surrounded by family and friends who shared his love of good food, games, puzzles, dogs, birds, and sports. Alain's absence will be missed by so many family and friends and colleagues. I know we will miss him dearly.

I had the chance to work with Alain and always could count on his in-depth knowledge, experience and calm approach to help us with challenges and initiatives. A true grandfather of many revolutionary processes in fleet management at DND were based on Alain's ingenuity. He will be truly missed by many. Je viens d’apprendre, avec un an de retard, le décès d’Alain. J’ai eu la chance de travailler avec lui, comme fournisseur, sur le programme LAV. Alain était un grand ingénieur qui a laissé sa marque sur ce programme important pour la défense de notre pays.
J’ai beaucoup apprécié son sens de l’humour et son humanité. Il nous manquera.
