Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 29, 2022, at the age of 45 years. He was the son of Elizabeth Thériault (Guy Gagnon) and the late Jean-Marie Malenfant. He is survived by his beloved wife Lisa Malenfant, his cherished daughters Gabryelle, Jasmine and Madison, his dear sisters Michelle, Pascale (Tommy Aubin-Guénard) as well as his nephews and niece: Xavier and Adèle Leblanc and Thomas-James Aubin-Guénard. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, colleagues, and many friends including his loyal friend, Perky. Claude has now joined his dear brother Daniel.
Visitation will be held at Beechwood Funeral Home, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa Ontario on Saturday, September 10th from 1:00 pm until time of the celebration. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Sacred Space of Beechwood at 2:30 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. Please note that at the request of the family, masks are not required to be worn during visitation and celebration.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison Funéraire Beechwood située au 280, avenue Beechwood, Ottawa Ontario le samedi 10 septembre à compter 13h. Une célébration de vie sera célébrée dans l’Espace Sacré de Beechwood à 14h30. L’inhumation aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Veuillez notez qu’à la demande de la famille le port du masque n’est pas obligatoire lors des visites et de la célébration.

Claude was a very important part of my family. He was an exceptional human being. He love d life. His wife and children meant the most to him. He was very open and from the first day we met to our very last conversation while taking him for a walk was always pleasant. We could talk about anything, he was adverse in different topics and views of life, I like he last words to me - Mental state is important in this journey and I think I found a good balance - I will miss the love around me
