Judy was the beloved wife of Ed and a devoted and proud mother to her two sons, Nick and Jason. Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in the life they built together.
She was also a cherished sister to Byron, Donna, Lori, and Mary, maintaining close and meaningful relationships that remained important to her throughout her life.
A true trailblazer, Judy broke barriers as one of the first female firefighters in the military, forging a path with courage, determination, and grit. She continued to serve her country with distinction, later becoming known for her exceptional driving skills in the military, earning respect and admiration from peers and superiors alike. Her service reflected her unwavering dedication and strength of character.
Beyond her military accomplishments, Judy built a life rich with friendship and community. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people and formed lasting friendships wherever she went. She was deeply involved in her local dojo, which was a significant and meaningful part of her life for many years. There, she gave her time, support, and encouragement generously, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
