Michael Graham Harrison passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories cherished by family and friends.

Michael is lovingly remembered by his twin sister Carolyn (Geoffery) and his sister Juliette (Brian). Michael was a devoted father to Jason (Erin), Debbie (Andre), Vicky (Brian), and Michael (Roxanne). He was a proud grandfather to Donovan, Mathew, Taylor, Josh, and Kayla. Also, a great-grandfather to Damien, Max, Kyran, and Locklan.

Michael, affectionately known as “Pops” and “Papasan,” lived an extraordinary life. His years in the military took him across the globe, where he experienced many cultures and created lasting memories. Closer to home, he found joy in simple pleasures, especially walking dogs with his best friend Jill and spending time with the local dog walking club.

He was a loving brother, father, and the greatest stepdad. His kindness, warmth, and overall presence left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Michael will be greatly missed and will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Friends and family are invited to Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery, and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa, Ontario, on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, for a visitation (11am-12pm), followed by a celebration of life (12pm-1pm), internment, and reception from (1:30-3:30pm)

My best dog-loving, raspberry-growing and lover-of-NZ wine friend will be deeply missed. We had some outstanding adventures, with one particular stand-out time in New Zealand. Memories will help, but it won't be easy.
Condolences to his family and many friends.

My very deepest condolences. I really enjoyed walking dogs with Mike and especially hearing about his adventures. In recent years, when was not able to come to morning walks, Jill kept us up-to-date with any news about him. He will be missed by us all.

Dear sweet Uncle Michael, I hope you are running around up there with all of your beloved doggies past, cigar in one hand and a glass of Marlborough Sav in the other, telling stories and laughing (with your dad at your side). We have missed your visits and hold you close in our hearts with many treasured memories - where ever you may be. Amanda and family
