James Woo Oak Mar, 89, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, at the Ottawa Hospital. Beloved husband of 57 years to Annie Yuk Ha Mar (née Chan). He was the devoted father of Willis, Kevin (Caroline), and Andrew (Madeleine), and cherished grandfather of Ava and Elliott. He is also survived by his brother Woo Shun Mar (Chi Yan).
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 3 between 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa. Interment will follow. Family and friends are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
