Nawal Nayel Awad

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Nawal, who left this world on Monday July 7, 2025, at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of the late Mansour Awad.
Loving mother of Assaad Awad (Christianne), Youssef Awad, Toni Awad (Vienna), Fouad Awad, and Raymond Awad (Viviane).
Cherished grandmother of Maya, Mira, Mansour, Robbie, Charbel, Joey, Elias, Amin, Rebecca and the late Josée.
Caring sister of Chaker Nayel (late Bernadette) and Elie Nayel (Nawal); predeceased by  Nabil Nayel (Laudy), Charbel Nayel, and Rose (late Tanous Kiwan).
She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews in Canada and Lebanon.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday July 13, 2025 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St., followed by interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Charbel Parish, would be appreciated.
