No words can give meanings for my life with her. Two of the oldest children of our parents, we grew up together sharing our lives together. Fortunately we spoke a day before her illness. May God give her the highest Jannah.

I am deeply saddened by my elder sister's passing. She was a truly kind-hearted and remarkable lady. Her guidance and support throughout my childhood and adult life has shaped me into what I do today. I'm grateful to have met her in my visits to Ottawa; I captured an evergreen moment that day of her beautiful smile while I was rushing back to my spot after setting the camera timer.
My dear sister's love and memory will continue to live on in me.
Sarah and Tahirah, please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. I appreciate both of you for being in constant touch with us and updating us about Mum's situation. My thoughts and blessings are with the two of you.

I have vague but fond memories of the time Badi Aunty visited Dubai when I was probably around 9 or 10 years old. Forever in my mind, she will be the most elegant and soft spoken lady. May she rest in peace.
My heart goes out to my cousins Sarah and Tahirah, may God give you both strength during this difficult time. Badi Aunty and you two will always be in my prayers.

Even as a child, I was quietly curious about my aunt. To me, she was a woman of grace, independence and deep knowledge of my family’s roots.

Through her, I came to better appreciate the heritage of my mother’s family and the importance of shaping your own path.

She will be missed and I will carry her memory of with me always.
