George Eldon Martin, aged 70, passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 21, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer. A devoted father to his son Alex and daughter Tyson, George found his greatest joy in time spent with his three adoring grandchildren—Rosalind, Esme, and Anthony—whose smiles lit up his days.
A celebration of life will be held at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Friday, April 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All who knew George are warmly invited to join his family in sharing memories, stories, and gratitude for his loving presence. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Ottawa Cancer Foundation in George’s memory, continuing his legacy of care and hope for others facing this disease.
