Vesper, Clive, Eric, and all extended family, we are all heartbroken to lose one of the kindest people I have ever met. From the first time I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica I knew she was a special person. Easy to talk to, tremendously intelligent with a self-deprecating wit that made every statement make you smile. As I remember my time spent with her, I tried to find photos, and realized that there are none. Every minute spent together was in the moment with no thought about anything aside from catching up, telling stories, sharing professional experiences, or being excited for future plans. The world and our lives will be less complete without this wonderful person. She will forever be in our memories.

Jessica was a beautiful person. I’ll forever remember her laugh and smile while we were in school, band class especially, and her inspiration to make the world a better place for all those around her, one nerdy reference at a time. She continuously worked to bring people together, organizing and adapting - even during Covid while our HS reunion had to be put off, she found a way to pivot it to support the new grads coming through. <3 “Temba, his arms wide” - thank you for the gift of your spirit and heart with us. You remain an inspiration to me. All my love to you and your family.
Jessica was such a kind and positive person that I remember so clearly from high school back in Vancouver. Such a heartbreaking tragedy that she lost her fight with cancer. My prayers and condolences go out to Eric, Clive, Vesper and all of Jessica’s family and loved ones.
