Passed away peacefully at home on June 14, 2025, at the age of 89 years. Survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth of 55 years, his sister Alice, his sister in laws Alice Moskkalyk, Natalie Perrino, Ann Simon, brother-in-law Edward Korbyl (Vicki), nephew Mark, nieces Sharron and Gwen all of Edmonton. Along with serval nieces & nephews. 

Predeceased by his parents John and Pearl Moroz of Vegreville, Alberta. His late sister and brothers Lilian Holowaty, Bill, and Mike all of Edmonton.

Walter enjoyed a 38-year career in the R.C.M.P. stationed at numerous locations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick and Headquarters HQ Ottawa. Following retirement, he served 18 years as a security officer with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
