It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Denise Brown (née Charlebois) at the age of 71 after a brave battle with cancer.

Sue is survived by her hubby, best friend and soulmate Willlie and loving sons Geoff (Christine) and Jason (Isabelle), her two adored grandaughters Ashlyn and Myla

She was a caring sister to Odette Bonneville (Richard), Linda Leslie (John), John Charlebois and Deb McIllwain (Greg).

She is predeceased by her parents Raymond and Jeannette (née Bellefeuille) Charlebois.

Sue enjoyed a loving extended family and will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great friends, and a dear stepmom Estelle Besner. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and leaves wonderful memories behind to remember her by.

We are so grateful to her strong community of friends, colleagues, and neighbours, who accompanied her and her family during these difficult times and throughout her life. We are also grateful for the care and support offered by the cancer community in Ottawa, most especially Dr. Nicholas, Dr. Effendi, the Cancer Centre at the Ottawa General Hospital and the staff at Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital.

Family and friends are invited to Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 12pm. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm. A private burial will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lung Cancer Canada would be appreciated.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lung Cancer Canada in honour of Sue https://www.canadahelps.org/en/pages/in-memory-of-susan-brown/

My deepest sympathies to the family. Sue and I worked together for a number of years at Bell. She was such a wonderful, bubbly and fun individual. It was such a pleasure to know her. She was also a tremendous resource and so very knowledgeable, dedicated and committed to her work.

Worked with Susan. She was smart, fun, and ready to help out.
