Ronald Faris of Pembroke, passed at Miramichi Lodge on Saturday April 18, 2026, in his 92nd year. Born February 16, 1935, in Orillia, to the late Anne and Delford Faris.

Ron was the beloved father of Kelli and Darin (Melissa) both of Petawawa Ontario. Loving Grampa to his four grandchildren, Kristen and Katelyn, Jared (Ashley) and Taylor.

Ron is survived by his sister Deborah Hahn of Orillia. He was predeceased by his sister Joan Nicols and her husband Robert of Orillia, his brother Delford and his wife Audrey of Midland, and little sister Marilyn Rayburn (Everett).

“You have been my friend…That in itself is a tremendous thing” (E.B. White).

To Ron and Lucille Yaworski, along with their families, thank you for the years of friendship. Many wonderful memories not to be forgotten. Ron was blessed to have been given the divine opportunity to have such a wonderful relationship with the Yaworski, McDonald, Trellert, Fox, and Brookson families. Thank you for being such a special part of his life.

The family would like to also extend a special thank you to the staff of 1A at Miramichi Lodge for their years of dedicated and compassionate care.

Ron brought joy and laughter to all that knew him and that is how we wish to remember him.

Friends and family are invited to an Internment which will be held at Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa Ontario) on Thursday May 14, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a Reception.

It was an absolute pleasure taking care of Ron for so many years. Every day I’d ask him what he wanted to wear his answer was always “clothes”. We had the most fun every morning getting ready for the day singing and laughing. He will for sure be missed !!
