Linda, David, Christine and families: My sincere condolences on the passing of this wonderful man. Bob has always held a special place in my heart and I have always been grateful for his guidance and support during my time in DDI3. He was so proud of his family and I will miss my annual Christmas card which brought me up to speed as to the latest achievements and travels enjoyed. Fair winds and following seas .

Dear Linda; The news of Bob's passing is very sad and shocking. I say shocking because it seems impossible that he has left us. Our lives and careers diverged but we never forgot each other or the fun we had together.

I sailed with Bob on board HMCS Annapolis in 1974. He was the ship's Operations Officer and the finest role model that a young naval officer could have.

Dear Linda, Christine and David. It was very sad to hear about Bob's passing, after a long and full life. Many of his naval intelligence counterparts, colleagues and friends will miss his in-depth knowledge, professionalism and esprit de corps. Many us us too were mentored by Bob and always appreciated his mentorship and kindness. Fair winds and following seas for his final journey.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Mom Jeanne [nee Marshall ], Ellis, dated Bob in the mid 1950's, and both families would meet up over the years, and have since lost contact. I remember Bob as kind and devoted to his family and his profession.
