Passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side, on October 16, 2023 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late June Bowie (nee Hewett). He is survived by his brother Kenneth, his daughters Joanne (Brian) Ingram and Susan (Donald) Mattocks, his grandchildren Scott (Samantha), Nikki, Shannon, Brandon, and Logan as well as his great-grandchildren Claire and Cooper.
Visitation will be held at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Monday, October 23 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, 414 Sparks St., Ottawa, on Tuesday, October 24 at 11 a.m.
Donations in Peter’s memory may be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.

I'm very sad to hear of Peter's passing. I worked with Peter at Bell Canada, commuted with him from the Hamlet, played tennis with Peter and June, and saw his dedication to June in latter years. Always a gentleman, always helpful and always friendly.. Peter left his mark on me and my wife.
