It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia (Pat) Anne Johnstone (nee Sands). Pat passed peacefully at the MayCourt Hospice on Wednesday, January 17th 2024. She was the cherished wife of the late Donald Charles David Johnstone. Pat was born on the May 15, 1944 in Birkenhead, United Kingdom to Gilbert and Nelly Sands. In 1946 the family moved to Canada. She was the loving Aunt of Kimberley (Randy), Nancy, Darrin, Jim (Cheryl) and the late Debbie, Great Aunt of Cassandra (Adam) Adrienne, Brad (Alissa), Calvin, Justin, Silas, Brooklyn and Marley. Sister of David Sands (Janice) and Glenda Lahde (late Paul). She will be greatly missed by her four-legged friend, Oscar.
Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue). In keeping with Pat's wishes, a private family service will be held in the Spring.
