Passed away peacefully in her 99th year at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, September 10, 2023. Beloved wife of late George Arthur Palmer. Loving mother of Kathryn Anne Palmer (Graham Johns), Florence Ellen Palmer (Wayne Gaultois) and Robert George Palmer (Carlos Escobar). Daughter of the late John Clarence Barrett and late Florence Barrett. Predeceased by siblings John (Jack) William Barrett. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa). A private family Interment will be held at Beechwood Cemetery, where Muriel will be laid to rest with her late husband in the National Military Cemetery.
