With a heavy grieved heart and deep sadness the family announces the passing of Mr. Michel NGENDANKAZI, which occurred at the Ottawa General Hospital, on Saturday April 6, 2024.
Born in Gitega, Burundi, son of RUHAGAMBIRA and KASA. Loving husband of the late Marie-Angèle NDIMUNKWENGE, caring father of Aline NGENDANKAZI, Evelyne IRAHOZA, Lyse DUSABE, the late Guillaume NTSINZI, Liliane MALIZA, Pacifique MUHETO, Amandine KAREZI, Achile NTWARI and Bérangère NGENDANKAZI.
He also leaves a great void in the lives of his grandchildren O’Neil and Lenny MUDUGU; Abdoulaye and Maryame Michaella Louisa CAMARA; Alec, Michaella, Eliouna and Anthia NTACO; Kenny and Yann NTSINZI; Quincy and Elden MUHETO; Tristan and Jake SABIMBONA; Ethan, Melaura and Logan NTWARI; as well as of his sons-in-law and daughters-in-law.
The family invites you to join in the celebration of Michel's life at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, for a visitation on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The funeral will take place at Senhor Santo Cristo Church, 1100 Kenaston Street, Ottawa, on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. The burial will follow at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank Street, Ottawa. Reception to be held at the Santo Cristo Banquet Hall, 1100 Kenaston Street, Ottawa starting at 1:30 p.m.

Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 20 avril 2024 à 9h00 à l’église Senhor Santo Cristo, 1100 Rue Kenaston, Ottawa.
L’inhumation suivra au Cimetière de l’Espoir, 4660 Rue Bank, Ottawa.
Une réception aura ensuite lieu à partir de 13h30 au Santo Cristo Banquet Hall, 1100 Rue Kenaston, Ottawa.
La famille remercie tout le personnel des soins intensifs de l’Hôpital Général d’Ottawa pour leur dévouement et leurs excellents soins.

Chère famille Ngendankazi, je vous témoigne mes plus sincères condoléances pour le décès du pilier de votre famille et mon Tonton. Les mots ne peuvent pas expliquer combien il va sans doute nous manquer mais il ne sera jamais oublié! Je garderai toujours dans mon cœur tous les bons souvenirs laissés ici-bas par cette vraie bibliothèque qui nous quitte! Agakobwa ko mu Runyinya (le surnom qu’il m’a donné) restera à jamais dans ma mémoire. RIP Muvyeyi!
