Loving wife, mom, and grandma, Mimi (Marilyn) Adamson (nee Ferguson) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 19th, 2024. She had a prolonged battle with cancer that she handled with courage and grace. She is survived by her husband Chuck (Charles), children Sheri (Scott), Jeff, Sarah, her granddaughters Fiona and Kyla, and brothers Bob (Susie) and Don (Judy). Mimi will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Daughter of the late Bob and Ada Ferguson. She will be remembered dearly for her radiant smile, big heart, sense of humour, strong faith, community service, generosity, and selflessness.

Family and friends are invited to St. Aidan’s Anglican Church (934 Hamlet Road, Ottawa), on Thursday, April 25th, 2024, where there will be a Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment and reception to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in Mimi’s memory we ask that you do so towards St Aidan's Anglican Church or the Canadian Cancer Society. For those who are unable to attend in person, please join the family via live stream.

My condolences to her husband and family. I did not know her well but she always had that beautiful, radiant smile at church. She must be so full of joy to be with her saviour.

We are so very sorry to hear of Mimi’s passing and our deepest sympathies to Dr. Adamson and the entire family. My family was lucky enough to have Dr. Adamson as a family physician who not only took care of me but delivered our children. Mimi was a ray of sunshine every time I attended for appointments and we were so lucky to be taken care of by a lovely family. Word cannot express how truly wonderful the Adamson family are and what they did for the community - they touched us all.
