Peacefully passed away at home at the age of 95, surrounded by family on March 27th 2023.
Margaret was born on May 9th 1927 in Dunfermline, Scotland.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 75 years Commander Raymond Clifford Stainfield (retd), and family; 3 Daughters, 5 grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Margaret shared her life with Clifford.
They met in 1941 at the Dunfermline Glen and were subsequently married in 1947 at the Abbey. Margaret enjoyed life to the fullest and will be dearly missed.
A Service will be held at the Annunciation Of The Lord, 2414 Ogilvy Rd. Gloucester, Ontario, Canada on April 28, 2023 from 1-3 pm.
Margaret’s family would like to thank everyone who has helped, during such difficult times; her doctors, nurses, health services, the Beechwood funeral home, and Father Robb for maintaining unwavering humanity and kindness.

So terribly sorry for your loss, Donna, Marlow, Cliff and family. Maggie was a wonderful woman and will remain always greatly missed. My sincere regrets for missing her service yesterday. I only finally saw the notice today. However, I know you would have been well surrounded and supported by all who will miss your mom and love.
