Karen was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a dear friend to me, and I regret that I did not stay in closer contact over the past several years. I will cherish the memories of her friendship. My heart goes out to her family who will miss her very much.

Dear Gary, Doug and all of Karen's family. I only met Karen once and I will always remember how much she was loved by both of you when we were together. And how you would tell me your stories of your times together. Sending all of you my deepest condolences and strength at this sad time . Hugs Elaine

We were saddened to hear of your mother's passing. I remember how she'd always make us feel welcome in her home, she was always so kind to us even when we knew she wasn't doing well herself. I hope she's found her rest.

We were fortunate over the years to get back to Ottawa to visit family
and were always well received by Karen and Nancy during the years they
lived together and Karen was well taken care of when we visited her at the Pearly.
Rest in peace Karen and be with all of our family and friends in heaven.
