On Saturday, July 29, 2023, Judy Olive (nee Pollex) passed away at the age of 75. She was the daughter of the late Elwood and Mae Pollex (nee Brisbois) and beloved wife of Harold Olive. She will remain lovingly in the memories of her children Doug Olive (Nicky), Jim Olive and Jennifer Deriger (Eric); her grandchildren Jacob, Isabelle and Jack; her brothers Bruce and Eric Pollex, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and caregivers of the Montfort Hospital, Bruyère Hospital – St. Vincent’s facility and Bayshore Home Health. The individuals from each of these organizations who provided care did so with the utmost attention and compassion to ensure Judy was comfortable during her last weeks and days.
Family and friends are invited for visitation at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa on Wednesday, August 16th at 12noon until time of a Memorial Service at 1:00PM. Interment and reception to follow.
In memory of Judy, donations to the Montfort Hospital or Bruyère would be greatly appreciated.

Harold & Family:
Thinking of you all at this difficult time . . . always enjoyed our chats . . . you're in my thoughts and prayers.

I have such fond memories of "Aunt" Judy as part of our very tight knit community on Moorvale, in a day when we left our doors unlocked and all the kids were invited to walk into each other's homes. Harold, I am so sorry for your loss. Doug, Jimmy, Jennifer, please know that your mom is with my mom, Jet, right now talking up a storm and catching up over tea. Love always.
Sending love and deepest condolences to Uncle Harold and family. Aunt Judy was an absolute ray of sunshine so it is no surprise that my mother cherished their weekly chats so much and spoke to us of them often. She was an angel among us.
