Jhon Saad El-Abras

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the age of 61.
Dear son of the  late Saad El-Abras and the late Leila Awad.
Beloved husband of Maguy Absi for 22 years.
Loving father of Marianne El-Abras.
Brother of Joseph Michael (Rita Azar) of London, UK; Rita (Jean Azar), Patrick (Elizabeth El-Hage) and Bernard (Jocelyn Bader) of Lebanon.
Dear cousin of Jean Hanna (Perry Ayoub), Viviane Hanna (Copal Awad) of USA and Fahd Mikhael (Mary Sleiman) of Windsor.
Son-in-law of Thérèse Asmar (late Said Absi). Brother-in-law of Gisèle (Georges El-Choueiry), Rouwaida (David Rahy), Mikhael (Lina Chidiac), Hoda (Habib Massaad), and Tony (Madelaine El-Sayegh).
Jhon was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother, cousin and friend. He was also a hardworking businessman and proud owner of MJM Vacuums.
His kind heart, positivity, and love for everyone who he knew will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know him.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Beechwood Funeral Cemetery at 280 Beechwood Ave.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 11:00 am at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St.
Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations to  Saint Charbel Church  or Saint Vincent Hospital would be appreciated.
