Jim passed away peacefully at St-Vincent Hospital on February 11, 2024 after a short battle against cancer at the age of 66. Son of the late Mary Theresa (née Lelievre) and the late William Arthur Morris. Survived by his brother Anthony Frederick Morris. Jim will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special thanks to the Royal Ottawa Community Health Program, the Causeway Group and the dedicated individuals who helped Jim through the many challenges faced in living with mental illness.
Cremation was held at Beechwood Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Bruyère Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
I met Jim thru his good friend Tim Jones. Jim was quite a character. A friendly fellow. I was glad to know him.
