Guy Beaupré, 88, of Ottawa Ontario, passed away on February 18th, from complications relating to hip surgery surrounded by his son and daughter. He will be missed and remembered for the many lives he touched through strong family and work connections.
The funeral service will be held on April 1st, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Beechwood Chapel (280 Ave. Beechwood Ave, Ottawa, Ontario K1L 8A6) with a small reception held afterward.
Guy was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick February 3rd, 1935, and worked on the family farm before heading west to work, before enlisting in the Canadian Armed Forces to become a radar technician. He then transitioned to the Ministry of Transport and retired as a Flight Inspection Officer after 37 years of loyal Public and Military service.
Guy is survived by his two children (Diane and Richard), grandchildren (Alyssa, Angeline, Nichola, and Paul), great-grandson (Benjamin), other assorted family, and caring friends.
Guy is preceded in death by his beloved wife Fleur-Ange after who passed ten years ago, and whom he missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or other cancer charities.
