Peacefully, passed away at the age of 84 at the Montfort Hospital on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Beloved husband of 61 years to Gisèle (Poirier). Loving father of Suzanne (Erik Mikkelsen), Michel and Robert (Cathy Grzela). Dear brother of Jocelyne (Ménard) and predeceased by his parents Aimé Bergeron and Emela (Charette), and his sister Monique (Brazeau). Gerald retired from the Federal Government after a career of 37 years, followed by many vacation trips with his wife and close friends. Private burial will be held at a future date. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Montfort Hospital or the Ottawa Heart Institute.
