My condolences to Catherine's family, I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I will remember Catherine as being a supportive, intelligent, and kind woman for during my time working under her programs in the social work field. She will be missed by many.

I can hardly believe the indomitable Catherine has left us so soon. My deepest condolences to all the family.
Although I’m unable to attend her Memorial Service, I do want to share with you my appreciation of Catherine’s role in my working life. She came to the Booth Centre as the hardest working assistant one could ever have, loyal, discreet, and client-focused. She was always willing to contribute beyond the scope of any job description from helping at the Christmas Toy Centre to writing a manual for training volunteers that was picked up by organizations across the country. I was so grateful when, a decade later, we were able to bring her onto the City team coordinating homeless services. Her deep knowledge and experience of community informed the solutions to many sticky situations. Although our professional relationship ended a dozen years ago, I can still hear her voice very quietly but confidently offering the best of ideas.
I will be taking time on Monday to join (in spirit) with family, friends and colleagues to honour Catherine.
