It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nouhad Boushey, who passed away peacefully in Ottawa on April 14, 2026, at the age of 82.
Nouhad was a loving and devoted mother whose life was defined by her selflessness and unwavering dedication to her family. She always put the needs of her loved ones before her own, offering endless care, strength, and compassion to those around her. Her kindness and generosity touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Predeceased by her husband late Nicholas Boushey. She will be forever cherished by her children Linda, Sam, Frank, Joseph (Nicole Ewing), Jennifer, and Joanne (Raidel). Proud and loving grandmother to Nicholas (Dana), Taylor (Nick), Michael, Maya, Yader, Makayla, Malena, Emilia, Theodore and late Noah and devoted great-grandmother to Sammy and Niam.
Nouhad will also be dearly missed by her siblings Bandar (Rachid), Georgette (Ray), and Mumtez. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Elias and Milya Abdallah, as well as her siblings George, Michel, Latif (Siham), Anise, Mouhib, Jaqueline and Doris (Kalim).
She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members in Lebanon who will remember her with love and gratitude.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Montfort Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church or to The Montfort Hospital in Nouhad’s memory.
Nouhad’s love, strength, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
