It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Maurice Lockman on February 7, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Thérèse (née Blanchette), he is predeceased by his daughter Sandra (Mark).
Maurice will be deeply missed by his children, Susan (Grant) and Michael (Carolyn), as well as his son-in-law Mark. Cherished Grand‑Papa of William, Jeremy (Maude), Alexa (Christopher), Justin (Áine), and Catherine (Amanda). Dear brother to Guy (Pierrette) and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sisters Ida, Stella, Rita, and Ghislaine, and by his brothers Philippe, Henry, Gérald, Raymond, Charlie, Bernard, Willie, and Ralph.
Maurice dedicated thirty‑three years to the Forest Fire Institute. An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of the Hammond Golf Club.
Friends are invited to a Celebration of Maurice’s Life on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Guy Genier and nurse Elena for their compassionate care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maurice’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Our thoughts and prayers go out ot all the family. May we all remember all the good moments that we would have shared with Maurice. So many good memories of the farm in Saint-Andre-Avelin and some great Roberge family golf tournaments.

Such a wonderful man. I was so lucky to have him as an uncle and friend.❤️
