It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret Mary (Carnell) Yagilashek on Sunday January 26, 2025. Predeceased by husband of 62 years Leonard Yagilashek (2024). Loving mother to Leon, Les, and Peter. Proud grandmother to Jonathon, late Eric and Elizabeth.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Alyce (Fancy) Carnell, brother, Bernie Carnell and sister-in-law, Frances Carnell and nephew Scott MacGillivray.
She is survived by her brothers, John and Michael (Margaret) of Antigonish and sisters, Anne Marie (Edward) MacNeil of Regina, Bernadette MacDonald and Therese (Raymond MacGillivray of Antigonish and sister-in-law, Shelli Carnell of Barrie, Ontario.
Arrangements entrusted to Beechwood Funeral Home, 280 Beechwood Ave. An Urn burial will take place at a later date at Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flower, memorial donation to the Canadian Lung association would be appreciate by the family.https://www.lung.ca/copd

I’m so very sorry to hear about Auntie Marge. I know she’s in a better place and now with uncle Leonard and with my mom Betty. (Elizabeth) and all of them I have a very pronounced and vivid memory of going up to your mom and dad‘s place in Clinton near Goderich Ontario and the house there in the summertime and you guys were all just little kids. RIP 🥰
