It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Len Walsh. He passed away peacefully on October 25 at the age of 91. He is survived by his loving wife Rose (Chovan), his children Karen, Tony (Heather Logan) and Greg and his grandchildren Desmond and Albany. He also leaves his brothers and sisters Ron, Vince, Kay, Tom and Tony, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings Marie, Joan, Leo and Geraldine.
Len was born in Bellevue, Newfoundland. Upon joining the RCAF, he and his family lived all over Canada during his 25 years of service. His final posting was to Ottawa, and he worked for another 10 years in the Federal Public Service after his retirement from the RCAF at the rank of Master Warrant Officer.
Len was a kind and caring man, and is deeply missed by his friends and family.
