It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Georges Malt who died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 27th, 2024 at the age of 95 years.
Cherished husband of 64 years to Lucie (née Sabbagh). Beloved father of Jean-Michel Malt (Kathryn), Roxane El-Asmar (Ghassan), Alain-Claude Malt (Jane). Grandfather to Toni (Christina), Adriana, Kristina, Maxime (Jessica), Kiana, Vanessa (Daniel), Alysha, Georges, Nicholas, Lucas and Kayla. Great-grandfather to Sevilla, Gabriel and Maya. Predeceased by his sister Nadia Malt and his parents, Jean Malt and Hélène Bustros.
Georges lived a full and long life and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
There will be a Funeral Service held at Beechwood, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Friday, August 2nd, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society in Georges’ name.
