It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Loye Hébert (née McGregor) who passed away suddenly at the Ottawa General Hospital on January 4, 2024 at the age of 66. Loye was born in Langley, British Columbia on February 10, 1957 and married Paul Hébert on February 2, 1985 in Langley. She was the daughter of the late John (Jack) McGregor and the late Kathleen Pratt.

Besides her husband Paul, she is survived by her son Maxim (Mary-Jane), her brother Dale, her half-brother Douglas, her half-sister Darleen, her mother-in-law Lise Duval (late Claude Hébert), her brother-in-law Réal (Hélène), her sister-in-law Lucie (Gérald), her brother-in-law Marc (Julie), as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive condolences at the Beechwood National Cemetery of Canada (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, ON K1L 8A6), https://beechwoodottawa.ca/en, Friday, May 17, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Participants are asked to gather at the Cemetery Memorial Centre (see map) between 12:00 and 12:15 p.m. to proceed to the National Military Cemetery (see map) at 12:30 p.m. for interment under the direction of Father Richard Kelly. Guests will then be invited to return to the Memorial Centre for the celebration of Loye's life from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
