You leave emptiness in the life of your sweetheart, your pillar, and "ta femme" of 56 years Claire (Bisaillon), a big hole in the heart of your daughter "ta belle Maryse en or à toi tout seul" as well as to Claude, your son-in-law, “ton chum” and your "helper".
Your beautiful Souky and your cherished Nyko will be looking for you for a long time. You will be warmly welcomed by your parents, the late Lionel and the late Rose-Anna (Bourdeau). You leave behind your brother and godfather Richard as well as your sister and godmother Jacqueline Burelle and Denise Ménard.
Your infectious smile will be missed by your many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends and former colleagues.
Claire, Maryse and Claude will receive family and friends at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from at 11 a.m., followed by Gilles' Celebration of Life at 1 p.m.
Donations to the SPCA de l'Outaouais or a food bank of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Many thanks to Dr. André Gauthier, Lorraine Gauthier NP, the nurses and attendants who lovingly cared for him. Sincere thanks to Maryse's Beechwood Family for their love and support.
