Going to miss your crazy jokes, and you’re sensitive deep talks of encouragement and support
I’ll always remember your sleep walking and waking us up in the middle of the night and weekends to get to school 😂
You always did everything you could to make life easier for us
Thank you 🙏

I have missed you Pats. The memories of all we endured growing up in Deschenes and in Charteris are always with me and will linger fondly. I remember the 10ft snow banks you loved to shovel up against the house to help keep it warmer and how you couldn't stand to see a single snowflake on the drive for Dad' arrival from work in Ottawa.
That crazy cowboy hat you'd wear and how you pulled it down over your eyes while you sat against a tree napping.
I remember the day you chopped at a frozen tree and the axe blade glanced off into your foot. I got you home and Mom got you sewn up somehow.
We made a skating rink that we often had no skates to use, but we would instead use it to play hockey with a ball and some crooked Alder sticks.
To think of the years we were afar from each other is a loss to me I cannot recover.
And we join with Lise, her family and with our nephew Marc in their grief. I offer mine, Edna's, Gene's (Pat's nephew) and his family's sincere sympathies. We extend our condolences also to our sisters, brothers and their families. Our brother Roger (Pats is his Nick-name)is at peace and troubled no more with earthly cares. Our love of him will endure.

My sincere condolences to all the family. Especially Marc who was so close to his father. To some he was known as Pats but to me he was known as uncle pest lol. I remember the calls for computer help, tv and other things. I still have your last message on my phone asking me to do your taxes. And that was the day before you left this world to be in a better place. My dad will miss the extra sausages and stuff you threw on his plate when you went out for breakfast. I know you are physically missed by so many but I also know that your spirit lives on and the memories are still alive. RIP dear uncle. I am proud to be able to help Marc with all that he has to deal with.
