What a fun lady! I enjoyed many laughs and chats with Janet at work and about our cottages near Newboro. I was sad to hear of her illness and passing. Condolences to her family.

As long time neighbours at the cottage we were surprised and very saddened by the news we have lost Janet. Always willing to help out and a great sense of humour - we will miss her!!
Two of our many goid memories were there evening canoe rides and her annual teachers day filled with laughter and swimming at the dock.

Janet was a part of my life for over 20 years. We worked together and played together, laughed together (Oh! That laugh!!!) and cried together( Well, I cried, not Janet). She taught me about the strength of women banded together to support each other, a gift that keeps on giving. I loved her and shall truly miss her. She will be with us always in our thoughts and memories and in the impact she made in the lives of those of us that she touched.

Hello Peter. We are saddened by the news of your loss and apologise for this late response. We hope that your grief has been lessened by a multitude of notes of praise for Janet and her contribution to the community. In truth, you both gave of yourselves to the people of Blackburn Hamlet. Those of us who were privileged to know you both are the better for it. So, a well deserved thank you, Janet and Peter, for making this a better world.
I had the pleasure of working with Janet at Fallingbrook for a number of years. Janet always had such a warm smile for everyone. My condolences to Janet’s family.
