It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dear father Anibal Marques Frederico, on February 11, 2024 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of late Maria Manuela Santos Frederico, loving father of Robert Frederico (Carolina Guzmán) and Christine Frederico McGarry (Jeffrey McGarry), and cherished grandfather of Lucas and Mariana McGarry. Survived by his sisters-in-laws - Zenaide and Madeleina and brother-in-law Nicolau. Fondly remembered by all his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brother José Curado, brother-in-law Manuel Ferreira, brother-in-law Antonio Tavares and sister-in-law Elena Santos Ferreira.
A celebration of life for Anibal will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services. A private family interment will follow at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the May Court Hospice Care Ottawa, 114 Cameron Avenue, Ottawa, ON K1S 0X1 or www.hospicecareottawa.ca would be appreciated. We will forever be grateful to all the staff who cared for him with kindness and devotion.
